The Villages of Shortsville and Manchester are located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Only minutes from scenic Canandaigua Lake, Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, the Erie Canal, Finger Lakes Wine Country, and numerous recreational attractions it is a perfect place to visit to enjoy all that the Finger Lakes has to offer. September Meeting Minutes
  • We discussed the Street dance that was held in downtown Shortsville. It was a great success although next year it will be held later in Sept.
  • The Annual Christmas Party will be held at the Depot Restrt. on Sunday December 13th. The committee will also do the judging of the Decorating Contest earlier in that week to allow the winners to attend our Christmas Party free of charge to pick up their winnings.
  • Our Sagoyawatha and Canoe on the island at Budd Park needs a plaque for it. Brenda will take care of that for us.
  • Permission was given to purchase banners for Rt. 21 in Manchester for the Water Derby and tohave a business name printed on each one. Matt will visit the business members to see if they would like to partake in this project. The village workers will put them up and take them down for us.
  • Feb. we will attend a joint Chamber meeting hosted by the Farmington Chamber. A date, placeand time to be announced later. Since we are helping to host the ARTIC CAT NORTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIPS at the Racino in February, we will have a booth to pass out information. More information on that later also.
  • John Barry, Manager of Clover Crossing Apartments in Manchester spoke and let us know that the new apartments on State Street are 80% occupied. There is room for more tenants if anyone is interested in renting one.

    The meeting was held at the Clover Crossing Apartment Office. Coffee and cookies were served.
